Solène Bonnet
French visual artist
Born in 1992.
A graduate of Design Academy Eindhoven in 2021, Solène Bonnet explores the effects of digital technology on the human body. Through experiments with digital and physical textures, her practice examines how the body is represented and perceived.
The relationship between surface and volume forms part of this inquiry. Her distorting mirrors give physical form to the transformation of images: reflections shift with the viewer’s position, revealing a changing representation of their own body. This encounter establishes a direct relationship between the object and the person observing it, inviting reflection on the distance between bodily presence and self-image.
